Just a quick blurb.  I have always believed in making a point to compliment great service rather than complain about not-so-great service. I think it brings you more great service to acknowledge it. So I have to say that Ecomom.com is one of my all time favorite sites and places to shop for our family. When they emailed me recently and asked if I would do an interview for their blog I was honored and excited about the chance to educate and spread awareness about Cystic Fibrosis. When the blog was published I was so thrilled... they did such a wonderful job of editing to make a great flow but kept all of my responses 100% my own - word-for-word. Journalistic integrity on top of such a great site?! So anyways here it is, I hope you will take a minute to check it out and then check out their site. I mean what I said- we cast a vote with every dollar we spend so make sure you are casting yours consciously!

Fundraising Kickoff

     Tis that time of year again friends! To kick off our 2013 fundraising events for the 2013 Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Walks we will be hosting an online virtual information scavenger hunt now (01/18/2013) thru February 14th, 2013! I will post clues, you hunt the correct answers and email them in a facebook message to me (Crystal Ryan) or our Team Page- Team Breathe & Fly Free 2012; for each correct response you get you will be entered into the weekly prize drawing as well as the grand prize drawing on 2/14. With awesome prizes from Ecomom.com and brands like Chicobag, HappyFamily, BabyGanics, The Honest Company, KidBasix and more... you definitely will want to sharpen your sleuthing skills for this!!!

Team Breathe & Fly Free Goes National!

 Well I did it! For the 2013 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Great Strides walks I signed up for the walks in 3 states- TN, GA and of course, FL! I am challenging myself  and our team to take it to the next level and REALLY get out there and raise some serious cash this year! I'm hoping we can get to $10,000.00 with all 3 teams combined.  I'll be posting all the details on the walk sites and our team links in the coming days but all the walks are in Spring 2013 so we don't have much time to get planning! I'm super excited about taking on the challenge and I hope you will join us in getting closer to making 'CF' stand for "CURE FOUND!"



 I decided to channel my disdain for Cystic Fibrosis into something productive so I created a team for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Great Strides walk this year (and the future).
    We are now Team Breathe & Fly Free! This year's goal is to raise $3,000.00. Since Cystic Fibrosis is an Orphan Disease, most funding for research and drug development (and the cure) comes from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

We are so thankful for all of the support we get as we adjust to living with Cystic Fibrosis and helping Natalia to live a full life despite her diagnosis!
